Details of the event: Carrier was given expedited rate for promised same day delivery. After truck was loaded late we made arrangements to have someone come in Saturday to unload. The
The driver was sent to Rutherfordton, NC, the shipper loaded the product and blocked it in with a couple boards, the driver strapped the load, signed the bills, and left with the shipment. The driver got approximately 20 miles down the road and the load shifted in transit. Daniel Wright from Wright Transportation contacted us and told us that the load had shifted in transit and asked us what we wanted to do about it. We informed him that since the drivers load shifted in transit and was unsafe to move, that he needed to contact the proper authorities and contact his insurance company.
The next morning we received a call from Pat Wright of Wright
I was sent an email from one of our carriers that stated Go To Logistics (MC 563351) had held a couple loads from Exel Trasportation hostage as a result over a claims dispute that remains unsettled with Exel Transportation.

tendered Mike with 3sixty a shipment from CA to PA; called and said the truck was in an accident and would be late. Sent bogus photos of a wrecked truck with the company info poorly photo-shopped off the info. Said it was in Knoxville, TN and then changed to Nashville, TN this after the biggest snow storm of the year hitting TN, the photo they provided NO SNOW. Never would give driver information or police info to confirm. Said the trailer was already re-hooked to new power. What a joke. kept digging himself deeper and deeper; this load was 100% double brokered. BROKER/CUSTOMER BEWARE.
Shipper called to confirm the correct carrier was picking up the load, he was a driver from Metro Xpress. We got the number of his dispatcher and he said that he got the load from All Access Worldwide Inc. Access Worldwide double brokered the load and then denied it. They later made a reply to our complaint that they are in compliance with the DOT, basically saying that double brokering is what he does and he's not stopping.
